Title: Red Drum are back
Posted on: March 18, 2014, 10:35:32 AM
Topicstarter: fishinfool
Redfish are starting to return after a very long winter. They are showing up at the South Jetty on incoming tides. Sheepshead are still there but a few Trout are starting to take over. The water is still very cold. Live shrimp are also starting to become available. Like I said Long Winter. GOOD LUCK

Red Snapper
Some of the Headboats have been given permits to catch Red Snapper while the season is closed. Port Aransas has several boats that are going on these trips. Check with the local boats to see what is available. GOOD LUCK

January fishing report 2013
Sheepshead and black drum are thick in the channel. It's been cold the last few days, but if you brave the elements, large trout can be had on the jetties.
